NFL franchises in the United States think Jarryd Hayne is a "phenomenon."
That is the opinion of Hayne's long-time Australian agent, Wayne Beavis.
Hayne will finally announce his NFL franchise at a 2pm press conference in Sydney on Tuesday.
Beavis would not reveal Hayne's new club but it is understood to be the Detroit Lions.
Hayne was also said to be seriously considering an offer from the San Francisco 49ers.
It will be an NFL futures contract, deals not for the elite but players clubs believe could one day crack the big time.
Asked what US clubs and agents thought of Hayne, Beavis said: "They think Jarryd is explosive, a phenomenon.
"He'll make it, trust me.
"Jarryd has been training the house down. He will return to the US in a fortnight and continue his private training before joining his chosen club."
Detroit will start training for the coming season in April.
