WHEN her husband-to-be failed to carry her over the threshold of their home in practice for their wedding, 116kg Grace knew she had to act.
"He (Dan Newsome) tried to pick me up and just couldn't," Grace Peacock, 21, told Mirror UK.
"He tried to brush it off and asked for a hug instead because he knew it would have got to me.
"And I tried to make a joke about not wanting to be dragged over the threshold but it really upset me."
Picked on all her teenage life due to her weight, Grace could not bare to buy clothes in shops due to embarrassment, instead shopping online.

She rarely went out with friends as they take picture and post them on social media.
"They'd be all over Facebook and I'd be tagged in them so everyone could see.
"I hated that people would be able to see me and knew they'd say 'Blimey, look how big she is!'"
When Dan failed lift her it proved to be the trigger to an astonishing weight loss that now sees Grace weighing just 58kg, a staggering loss of more than 57kg.
She could not buy clothes in shops due to embarrassment, instead going online.
In two years Grace, of Barnsley in South Yorkshire, England, has gone from a Size 22 to a Size 10 and feels comfortable to wear a bikini for the first time in her life.
"I feel like a completely different person and, best of all, Dan can pick me up easily!"
Grace began her weight loss by going for long walks with her dogs and she also joined a gym with Dan.
"The first time I got on the treadmill I couldn't even run," she said.
Then, in February last year, she joined weight loss program Slimming World with her sister, Megan Allatt, 23.

Slowly but surely Grace's weight began to fall. She went from a Size 22, down to a Size 16 in three months and was hooked. She recorded her weight loss on social media as she got down to Size 14.
"I'd put them up on Facebook and one got something like 2,000 'likes'," she said.
"People posted really nice comments and it really helped me to keep going."
As well as sticking to the diet program, Grace went to the gym four times a week for 5k runs on the treadmill.
Now she says is looking forward, instead of dreading, trying on wedding dresses.
"We bought our first home together a year ago so we haven't set a date yet because we need to start saving again," she said.
"The wedding will probably be in 2016, which means Dan has plenty of time to practise carrying me over the threshold!"
